Hi, the jacket is a Barbour Beaufort in olive.
Do you happen to know if it’s a Classic Beaufort with sylkoil finish or a Beaufort with traditional thornproof dressing?
I have the older model with the traditional thornproof dressing. (The “classic” designation is somewhat misleading). Mine is the “Beaufort,” with the thornproof dressing, not the “Classic Beaufort,” with the matte sylkoil finish.
Does that mean that the “sage” color that the thornproof jacket is now marketed under is different than the olive on your older jacket?
Yes, my apologies. The jacket pictured is closest to “sage.” I bought it in 2005 so things have been shuffled up a bit since then.
