We recently visited the showroom of shirtmakers Hugh & Crye, tucked away just off O Street in Georgetown. Founded in 2009, the folks behind Hugh & Crye turn traditional shirt sizing on its head in their quest to produce a perfectly fitting dress shirt. Their unorthodox approach–based on the wearer’s height and build–yields surprisingly accurate results. You can find your size here using their fit finder (Van wears an Average/Skinny). The line recently expanded to include sportcoats that follow the same sizing model. We look forward to seeing what’s next for this homegrown DC brand.
